Ruislip Lido
Before the children began their work on 'The Journey' by Francesca Sanna, they took a trip to Ruislip Lido. This was to offer the children an immersive experience and enable them to empathise with the characters in the book.
The children had the opportunity to play on the beach before quickly leaving and travelling through the woods to the train which took them to the end of their journey.
