Year 6 VE Day celebration
Year 6 - VE celebration recreation
To round off their Learning Journey on WW2, Year 6 planned, organised and held their own VE celebration. As party of their half term project the children designed and prepared food using recipes from the 1940s.
Parents were invited to come and share the food and recreate a photo taken at Fleetville School to mark VJ Day. Even Mr Cooper, the CEO of Spiral Partnership Trust, took part in the celebrations.
