Ug, boy genius of the Stone Age
Week commencing 18th Sept
This week in Year 3, we have continued our topic of Ug and the Stone Age by looking at artefacts and considering their use.
In Science, we have been comparing the properties of rocks and performing a scratch test. ‘This is the best science ever!’ said an enthusiastic pupil in Mistry Class. He was happy to learn that there is more exciting science to come.
In English, we have looked at the character of Ug and written character descriptions - building on our knowledge of expanded noun phrases and pronouns.
In maths, we continue to explore place value with numbers up to 1,000.
