James Maton |
James is the Chair of the Junior School LSC having first been involved with the schools as an Infant Parent Governor. He is a Partner in an international law firm, specialising in disputes and investigations. |
Parent Governors |
Adrian Wood |
A co-opted parent governor whose youngest child currently attends the junior school, Adrian is an economics graduate and is now a banker experienced in sales, marketing, business management, change and product management and also has experience in HR. Term of office: to 2/12/2022 |
Lee Langstaffe |
Lee was elected by the parent body on 5th December 2022. Lee has five children and his daughter attends the junior school. Lee is an experienced internal audit professional specialising in the insurance sector. Term of office: to 05/12/2026 |
Taane Clark |
Taane is an elected parent governor whose daughter attends the junior school and a son at the infant school. Taane is a statistics, computational biology and business graduate and is currently a university professor in genomics and global health. Term of office: to 30/09/2024 |
Community Governors |
Clare Brailsford |
Clare joined the LSC in January 2023 as a co-opted community governor. After completing an MA in Librarianship and Information Studies, Clare worked for 12 years as a librarian for respected top-tier international law firms in the City. Following a career break to raise her children, Clare worked as the Sixth Form Librarian at a secondary school in St Albans, before retiring in July 2022. Clare has two daughters: the eldest is a management consultant in London and the youngest is in her final year at university. Term of office: to 15/01/2027 |
Stephanie Pisharody |
A co-opted governor, Stephanie has three children, two of whom are currently at the school. She is a fundraising professional with over twenty years of experience across charity, education and heritage sectors. She is an English Literature graduate and is currently working towards an MA in Philanthropic Studies. Term of office: to 31/08/2024 |
Lindsey Brown |
Lindsey is a co-opted governor whose two sons attend the Junior school and her daughter is at Nursery. Lindsey is an experienced HR professional, specialising in Employee Relations. She is currently the Head of London Case Management for a global bank. Term of office: to 31/08/2024 |
Staff Governors |
Clare Whitehouse |
Clare joined Fleetville as Deputy Headteacher in January 2021 and became Headteacher in September 2022. She has been teaching for 15 years and a Senior Leader and SENCo for 12 years. |
Lucille Feather |
Lucille has taught in years 3, 4 and 6 at Fleetville since starting as an NQT in 2010. She has been maths lead since 2014 and an SLT link since 2016 following a seconded year to UH to teach maths, science and computing on the ITT programmes. Currently on maternity, she is keen to use her keep in touch days to develop subject leadership across the school, bringing experienced and new members of staff to achieve our school vision.
