Mr David

Hello, my name is Mr David and it gives me great pleasure to introduce myself as Deputy Headteacher. I am passionate about education and feel privileged to work with children every day. I am married with two beautiful children both inside and out. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I’m also an avid reader and have a love for both sport and music.  

When you are truly inspired, you are compelled to do or feel something. There are many incredible people I admire from many walks of life but there are two sporting greats whose influence on me has been immeasurable. Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima is the greatest player in the history of football. I remember watching him in the 1998 World Cup as a child and falling in love with football. He is an idol of mine and someone whose name I would scream from the age of 5 whenever I scored a goal in the park. The second of these sporting greats is Pete Sampras. He had me glued to the television screen every July watching Wimbledon and inspired my lifelong passion for playing tennis.   

Kindness is having genuine compassion, acceptance and consideration for others. People are social beings who live in families, work in teams and form friendships. Kindness is imperative if we are to have fulfilling relationships and maintain our emotional well-being.  

I have many goals in my life and career but irrespective of whether I achieve these, my children will always be my greatest accomplishment.
