Hello, my name is Diana McDonald and I began teaching in 1991. Prior to that, I worked within the technology industry. I have taught in four schools: two in East London and two in Hertfordshire. I came to Fleetville Junior School 19 years ago! Both of my own children attended FJS. Needless to say, I love it here. I love learning and enjoy teaching all subjects but my favourites are English, Science and PE.

I really value resilience, so anyone who has achieved things against the odds and has a positive outlook: Nelson Mandela epitomises this. But I could include many others, such as Oprah Winfrey, my mother, etc.

To me, kindness is remembering that everyone is only human and treating all living things with respect and care.

My greatest achievement is my own children having good souls.
