Year 3 - The Stone Age
To bring their learning about the Stone Age alive, Year 3 travelled back in time to visit Celtic Harmony. They took part in different activities which enabled them to have first hand experiences of what life was like in the past.
Year 4 - Ancient Egyptians
As part of their Learning Journey (inspired by Marcy and the Riddle of the Sphinx), Year 4 looked at the process of mummification and carried out the process on oranges.
Year 5 - Ancient Greece
Inspired by the Adventures of Odysseus, Year 5 travelled to Ancient Greece. They learnt about Ancient Greek traditions and lifestyles and used different sources to gather different information. They used what they had learnt to create their own Greek pots and their own presentations. They thought of some amazing ways to demonstrate what they had learnt.
