Kindness Day 10th September 2021
On Friday 10th September 2021 the whole school took part in a kindness day. The workshop was run by the charity 52-lives. The children learnt about Kira, a 13 year old who is a carer for her mum and younger sister.
The children created messages. which will bee sent to Kira to brighten her day.
52 Lives aims to change someone's life every week of the year and spread kindness, with the help of almost 100,000 supporters. It is based on the simple premise that people are good, and lots of good people working together can achieve amazing things. We believe that kindness has the power to change people's lives, strengthen communities and ultimately change the world - while improving our own well-being at the same time.
