We visited the zoo as part of our learning journey based on Gorilla by Anthony Browne. We enjoyed a fascinating workshop where we found out how animals are adapted to their habitats, and we saw a huge variety of amazing creatures. We especially loved visiting the chimpanzees, which are closely related to gorillas.... and to us !

During Wicked Week, we took part in workshops run by the team from the West End. We explored the themes of kindness and anti-bullying using scenes from the stage show.

All of the children were able to relate to the feelings of the characters and suggest ways the characters could show our 'Be Kind' value.

Year 3's first Learning Journey was based on Ug, Boy Genius. To deepen the children's knowledge of the Stone Age, they took a trip back in time to see what life would have been like. They took part in different activities which enabled them to get an insight into life during the Stone Age Period.
