I’m Mrs Rolph, one of the new members of staff, and I’m delighted to be working at Fleetville Junior School. I am privileged to be working in Year 5 and to be given one of the school guinea pigs as a class pet. I have a love of animals, and currently have a rescue dog called Miley and two black and white rescue cats called Sooty and Sweep. I spend my spare time helping to run a local cub and scout unit which I got into to support my children. I do enjoy being outside and love camping. One of my passions is reading and I have many favourite authors but my favourite genre is crime.

I have been inspired by lots of people over the years but especially by those who help others, Mother Theresa and Desmond Tutu, as well as people who have overcome challenges. I was inspired to become a teacher by some of my own teachers as I went through school especially secondary school.

Kindness to me means helping others and always being willing to help out. This is how I try to live my life, and where I can, I will always help someone out. Sometimes that is doing something to help or by just listening.

My greatest accomplishment has to be my own three children and supporting them as they journey through their lives. I am also proud of my musical achievements: playing the piano and the flute to Grade 4 standard.
