Year 3 - Plants
During their work on plants, Year 3 planted some seeds to investigate the best conditions for growth. They also explored how water is transported through the plant.
Year 4 - Living things
As part of their work on living things, Year 4 explored the local area to see what creatures they could discover. They then created their own branching data bases to help other identify what they had found.
Year 5 - Materials
As part of their unit on materials, Year 5 have explored the properties of different objects and materials that they found in and around school. They then thought about why specific materials had been used and investigated their properties.
Year 6 - Light
For their science work on light, Year 6 experimented with reflection by making their own periscopes.
