Trips, Visits and Workshops

School trips and visits are essential to the educational experience, valued by both children and staff. We aim to offer a variety of opportunities that enhance your children's learning journey.

This list provides examples of opportunities that may be available to your child during this academic year:

Parents and Carers are informed about trips and visits in a number of ways:

For any enquiries regarding the trip or payment details, including Pupil Premium funding, please reach out to Mrs. F Waters, the Trips & Visits Coordinator, via the school office.

Signing my child up for a Trip on the Parent Portal or the Arbor App

All our trips and workshops are managed in Arbor. Registering a child for a trip using the Parent Portal or Arbor App is a simple process. Here is a link to the Arbor Help Centre which contains a useful self-help guide. Click on the Arbor logo below to go to the Parent Portal.

Swimming Lessons

All local authority-maintained primary schools in England are required to include swimming and water safety instruction as part of the national curriculum's PE program. At Fleetville Junior School, we provide swimming lessons for our Year 4 students. Each class participates in swimming for one term at Westminster Lodge. Whilst these lessons are provided free to children as part of the national curriculum, we do ask for a voluntary contribution from parents to help us to cover the cost of the coach to and from Westminster Lodge.

Details will be available in the Trips Section on Arbor.
