Cameron, at the age of thirteen, yearns for a typical life filled with friends, swimming, school, and family. 

However, his reality is anything but ordinary. Not every thirteen-year-old faces the urgent need for a new heart due to a malfunctioning one. 

At last, a doctor presents a glimmer of hope. If Cameron and his parents consent, he could undergo a groundbreaking and controversial procedure that involves transplanting a pig's heart into his body. 

This approach carries significant risks and has never been attempted before.
