Alice in Wonderland
Auditions for our summer play will take place next Tuesday afternoon. If you're not in that day, don't worry, there will be another chance to audition on Wednesday and casting won't be decided until everyone has had a turn. You can audition for two different parts if you'd like. You don’t need to learn the script or even read it in advance. The extracts will be explained to you beforehand and you will act out the scenes in small groups, one after another.
Auditions are optional. If you don’t feel comfortable performing in front of your class, that’s totally fine - just let us know.
Our Alice role will be shared between the three classes, and there are lots of other brilliant roles too, so don’t worry if you don’t get one part in particular. If you want to, you can also sing a short bit of “A Million Dreams” as a solo but most songs will be sung as a whole cast.
Three audition scenes are attached below. Have a look if you want to, but there's no pressure to prepare anything in advance.
