We follow the White Rose Science scheme of learning, a high-quality curriculum that develops both scientific knowledge and the key skills of working scientifically. Each unit is carefully sequenced so that children build on prior learning, deepen their understanding of key concepts and apply their knowledge through practical investigation and enquiry.

As a school, we adapt the scheme where needed to meet the needs of our pupils and to make meaningful links with other areas of the curriculum. Our aim is to nurture curiosity, encourage questioning and ensure that all children develop the confidence to think and work like scientists.
