Our Library Needs New Books...

Some of our books are quite aged and in a state of disrepair. We are eager to acquire new literature for our children to enjoy.

We have compiled a wishlist of books tailored for each year group. If you kindly choose to purchase and donate a book to our library, we will place a message inside the book to acknowledge your generous contribution.

To provide our children with a diverse selection of books and the chance to explore various authors and genres, we have introduced Author of the Month. Every month, we focus on a new author. This initiative is highlighted in the classroom and our school library, allowing students to borrow books by the featured author.

Tom Fletcher is a musician, author, and vlogger from Harrow, London. When Tom was younger his dad worked for Kodak and played in a band, while his mum taught children with special needs. At just ten, Tom starred as Oliver Twist in London’s West End and later attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School.

Tom shot to fame in 2004 as the lead singer and guitarist of McFly, whose debut album broke records by going straight to number one. In 2012, he co-wrote his first children’s book The Dinosaur That Pooped Christmas with bandmate Dougie Poynter. His first solo novel, The Christmasaurus (2016), tells a magical Christmas Eve adventure and became a global hit. Today, Tom’s books have sold worldwide in over 32 languages, including The Creakers (2019) and musical editions of his stories.
