On 1st June 2012 Fleetville Junior and Fleetville Infant and Nursery schools converted to academy status in a Multi Academy Trust - Fleetville Trust. On 1st January 2016, Fleetville Trust merged with another local MAT and became Spiral Partnership Trust.

The Trust is led by a group of directors who consider the strategic vision for the schools and who monitor their progress towards a set of objectives. They delegate responsibility for various aspects of the schools' work to the respective Local School Committees.
