Mrs Hall
My name is Mrs Hall and I joined Fleetville Junior School in 2018. One of the best things about our school is the outdoor space we have available to us e.g. the huge field, two playgrounds, forest school area, the sensory garden and a netball court. I love being outside myself, preferably in the sunshine, and enjoy walking in the countryside and gardening. I also take great delight in visiting and learning about different countries and have been lucky enough to visit every continent except Antartica. Hopefully, I'll get the chance soon! It probably comes as no surprise, therefore, that my favourite subjects to teach are geography and history, which is a good job as I am history subject lead at Fleetville.

If you were to ask me who I find inspiring, I once met an 18-year-old boy who had cycled alone all the way from London to Kathmandu in Nepal! He'd had his bike stolen, been very poorly and lost his passport, but he'd seen these as temporary setbacks and had kept going. People like him, who have a positive can-do attitude, I find truly inspiring.

Choosing to do things for other people, knowing it will make them happy, is my definition of kindness. Considering other people not only makes the recipient happy, but it can also bring you happiness too.

In my 20s, I went backpacking alone across the world for 2 years, which has been one of my greatest personal accomplishments to date.
