Kindness Week

During kindness week, we acknowledged anti-bullying week, held our first positive noticing day and raised money for a local charity.

At Fleetville we believe that kindness is always the answer and want our pupils to accept and celebrate each other. This year the theme of  national anti-bullying week was 'Make some noise' about bullying. The pupils of Fleetville were challenged to come up with some creative ways to spread that message.

Lucy created a music video to 'make some noise' about bullying.

A number of children designed posters, designed logos and even made badges to show that bullying isn't welcome at Fleetville.

The School Council planned and delivered an assembly with advice on what to do if you see unkind behaviour happening and defined what banter really is.

Positive Noticing Day is a day dedicated to noticing all of the special qualities we have. Every member of the school (both staff and pupils) were recognised for what makes them special. Notes were placed on our Positivitrees and delivered to pupils by the House Captains.
