Year 4 - Cooking
As part of their Learning Journey (inspired by Pugs of the Frozen North), Year 4 designed, prepared and evaluated a savory dish based on the characters in the book.
They planned their dish using a set of criteria including: cost, purpose, taste, sustainability and seasonality of produce. They then went to the supermarket and purchased the ingredients before preparing the dish. They evaluated their dish and decided if the Yetis that Shen and Sika encounter in the story would serve their dish in their Noodle Bar.
