FJS update - 17th April

Good afternoon Friends,

I hope you have managed to enjoy the last of the sunshine until next week, the weekend’s weather is not looking promising.

Last night our lovely Charlie Lumsdon went live on air to discuss how his sports company are supporting our mental health through this lockdown. The link to the podcast is;

https://www.radioverulam.com/podcast/pregnancy-in-covid-19-lockdown-help-and-support-advice/

He is interviewed by two of our wonderful parents J

We also have been contacted by one of our other fantastic parents with a link to more sustainable lockdown activities;

https://sustainablestalbans.org/sustainable-lockdown/

Both are websites we use a lot in school and are packed full of great ideas.

Comedy night tonight instead of our usual bedtime story, I hope you enjoy it!

Seesaw begins again on Monday as we leave our Easter holiday behind us so this is our last challenge for now.

I’m struggling to keep track of days so I was wondering if you wanted to research the origins of the names of the week and invent your own for our lockdown time. Eg; apparently the etymology of Tuesday is Norse but I’m beginning to call it Yogaday…

Stay safe and well and enjoy your weekend.
