General

In aiming to create a smart appearance, we expect hairstyles for boys and girls to be conventional and acceptable to the school.  As a guideline, all long hair should be tied back with a soft band at all times.  Hair bands/clips should be in school colours.  There should be no extremes of unnatural colour or two-tone colours (dip-dye).  Shaven heads are not acceptable unless there are religious grounds, in which case a signed letter from parents is required.  Make up, including nail varnish, is not permitted.  No jewellery other than stud earrings and watches may be worn.  Stud earrings should be removed during PE lessons.  The school takes no responsibility for the loss of jewellery or watches.  Please ensure that all articles of clothing and footwear are clearly marked with your child's name.
