We have a school council made up of 12 members (one representative from each class). Pupils can offer themselves for nomination each term and the others in the class then vote to elect their representative.

The School Council representative attends regular meetings to discuss comments and ideas put forward by their classmates. At each Governing Body meeting a representative from the School Council reports on what we have been doing. This is one of the ways that we can have a say in how our school is run.

We also organise fundraising events to raise money for things that we want to buy. For example, team sweatshirts or a compost bin.

After finding out about many children who are unable to go to school, we decided to raise money to support projects funded by Comic Relief. We held a 'Wear Red' day and a talent show called 'Fleetville Stars'. Everyone who took part made a donation and we raised £487. The money we raised will benefit children like Fred who live on the streets.
