Luke represented the St Albans District in the 2011 Junior Schools' Swimming Gala in May this year and was a member of the winning team. Each member of the team takes it in turns to 'look after' the trophy. It is in the trophy cabinet at the moment of you would like to come and have a look Well done Luke!

This weekend, Adela Stemple took part in a Hertfordshire HAGA2 gymnastics competition. She finished 5th out of 91 participants - a great achievement!

As a result of his commitment, perseverance and ability, Alex Lankshear has been signed up by Arsenal Football Club - one of only 16 in the squad. He will be playing for their under 9's team. Good luck Alex - we look forward to hearing about your experience!

Congratulations to James Jarman who took part in the county badminton tournament last weekend. He entered both the singles and doubles competitions. After a gruelling 13 matches James finished in second place in the singles and 2nd in the doubles - an amazing achievement!

Congratulations to Hadrien and Julie who ran the Herts 10k last Sunday. Hadrien finished in a time of 1hr 13mins and Julie in 1hr 41mins. What an amazing achievement!

Congratulations to Lachlan for being part of the OA's U9's team that played in a tournament against 59 other teams last weekend. They came first!

Congratulations to William Raymond who took part in his first triathlon yesterday - the Triforce Eastern Regional event. He came first in the cycle, first in the run and third in the swim. These results gave William second place overall for his age group - a great achievement!

Congratulations to Olivia Almond who has been awarded the U11's trophy for winning the Junior Club Championships at St Albans Athletics Club in her first competition event.  There were various disciplines including 100m, 600m,  javelin, shot, long jump.

Congtratulations to Robyn Reardon who recently won several medals at her club's competition. She won a gold medal and a trophy for her floor work, the same for her vaulting and again for the beam. She won a silver medal on the bars and a gold medal overall!
